R1 2024

v1.8.8885 — released 2024-03-19 (final patch 2024-06-05).

R1 2024 marked Composer's move to FFmpeg 6.1 and CUDA 12.2+, added 8K (7680×4320) support, and introduced the FFmpeg Target for arbitrary FFmpeg-pipe outputs. Performance work delivered 5–10% CPU load reduction across the board and 2× faster Blackmagic UHD / 4K capture.
